Copyright 2010 Quilt Trade Association
Quilt Trade Association (QTA) provides opportunities for peer interaction between quilt shop owners. QTA's mission includes providing forums for the industry to promote and facilitate knowledge sharing and networking.  QTA Round Table Networking events ("Round Tables") are being organized throughout the US so that quilt shop owners can meet with each other to discuss various factors to their success.   Some of the topics that are slated for Round Tables include:

     -  Merchandising Tips & Techniques
     -  Staffing Issues
     -  Marketing & Holding Successful Events
     -  Inventory Levels
     -  Work Smarter, Not Harder
     -  Kits - Pros and Cons
     -  and many more topics...

These Round Tables are organized by QTA and depend on a quilt shop owner "host" who provides the meeting space for QTA members to attend.   By scheduling these Round Tables across the country at various times, it provides a way for quilt shop owners to meet, economically and conveniently, in a forum that promotes quilt shop owners helping each other.

Attend these free Round Tables in your regional area so that you can network with your peers and learn how other owners are overcoming challenges that you may be experiencing.  All Round Tables are scheduled so that you drive to and from in one day without having to bear overnight stay expenses.

"The ability to sit around a table [at a QTA Round Table] with other quilt shop owners was invaluable to me. Some of them I hadn’t met before and it was an excellent exchange of ideas without being threatening or competitive."
