About Us
Copyright 2010 Quilt Trade Association
Quilt Trade Association (QTA) is an international, 501(c)6 non-profit association of members comprised of independent quilt shops and businesses that provide goods and services for the quilt industry. QTA, launched in February, 2010, was inspired by a core group of quilt shop owners and industry leaders.

QTA is an organization with one overriding objective: to continually strengthen the quilt industry. QTA envisions an invigorated market where all sectors of the quilt industry work in partnership to bring value to consumers and to maintain a healthy and growing quilt industry.

2010 is the inaugural year of QTA. Our membership benefits will continue to expand as we look to our membership to help identify those benefits which can best serve you – our member. At this time, QTA’s efforts include delivering core tangible membership benefits, expanding the Industry Collaboration Central advisory board, and working together with the QTA Board of Directors to formalize short term priorities and services and long-term goals and strategies.

QTA is a new and different organization serving the quilt trade industry.  As a non-profit organization, we are governed by our Board of Directors.  For more information about the differences between QTA and other quilt-trade related businesses, visit How QTA Differs.
                                            QTA'S MISSION
