Member Benefits
Copyright 2010 Quilt Trade Association
We are pleased to announce these member benefits to coincide with the launch of Quilt Trade Association in February, 2010.  As QTA is in initial stages of determining and increasing member benefits, this list below is far from complete.  Once you join QTA, we'll keep you posted when additional benefits are announced.  The year 2010 is sure to be an exciting one as we grow QTA.  We look forward to hearing from you, our member, to understand what additional member services we can provide that will benefit the QTA membership.

Industry Collaboration Central (ICC)
A bi-monthly (or more frequently as-needed) forum (a web teleconference meeting) to discuss and formulate actions to solve the critical problems facing the quilt industry. Overcoming the “image”, “time available” and “average age” of quilters are examples of challenges that the quilt industry faces today. QTA centrally administers and facilitates the go-forward plans (i.e. programs, promotions, campaigns, etc.) that can be shared across QTA membership.

Educational Webinars
Industry leaders or subject matter experts are speakers, presenters and panelists at educational 45 minute webinars, with video over the internet and audio via telephone, internet, that address topics that are pertinent to the various sectors of QTA membership. The initial set of these educational webinars are geared toward the quilt shop owner. These webinars are readily available in a virtual mode (via the internet), keeping the cost (no cost) and time spent by the quilt shop owner to attend these educational sessions to a bare minimum.

Regional Quilt Shop Owner Round Table Networking

Regional half-day or full day meetings (topics determined in advance) are planned for quilt shop owners to network with their peers. Traveling via car for just a day to a centralized, regional location helps save time and money for the quilt shop owner. These Round Tables are "quilt shop owners helping each other" about various topics of interest.
